Plasma Ignition and Steady Combustion Technology of Coal-fired Boiler

Plasma ignition for coal-fired boiler is to get directed, high-density and high-temperature plasma flow through ionizing the carrier compressed air between the positive and negative poles with direct current. When the plasma flow enters the igniting coal burner, it will form a high temperature fire core that has a great temperature gradient of over 4000K. When pulverized coal particles meet with high temperature plasma flow, they’ll have a quick smash and burn. Meanwhile, plasma flow has a thermo chemical reaction with pulverized coal, and a great quantity of volatile matter in pulverized coal will release to aggravate the burning of pulverized coal. Burning pulverized coal in the burner will form a flame into the furnace cavity to further burn the pulverized coal from other burners. And finally the ignition is achieved.
